Master in Quantum Science & Technology in Italy

MASTER in QUANTUM SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY - Università degli studi di Bari Aldo Moro

The first edition of the Master in Quantum Science & Technology organised by the Physics Department of the University of Bari in the beautiful region of Puglia (Italy), combines coursework and laboratory work with a 4-month internship on highly ambitious projects at industrial partners. The programme is aligned with the pillars of the EU Flagship on QT and offers a blend of flexibility and personalised learning.

Building a quantum safe financial system

🌍 Yesterday, QURECA’s Founder and CEO, Araceli Venegas-Gomez, had the honour of participating in the

G7 Workshop - Building a Quantum Safe Financial System: What Role for Authorities and for the Private Sector? hosted by Banca d'Italia in Rome.

Araceli contributed to the engaging panel discussion, "The Technology Disrupting Race Towards the Quantum Computer: Is There a Winner Looming?", alongside renowned experts such as Daniele Ottaviani (Cineca), Tommaso Macrì (QuEra), Martin Leib (IQM Quantum Computers), Federico Mattei (IBM), and Marina Natalucci (Politecnico di Milano), chaired by Simone Montangero (Professor at University of Padua). The panel delved into the rapid advancements in quantum computing and its implications for industry and finance.

QURECA is proud to have been part of such a pivotal discussion, supporting the journey toward a quantum-powered future for businesses across sectors.

On Wednesday, 4th September, our team at QURECA – Araceli Venegas-Gomez and Richard Kienhoefer– had a productive meeting in Castelldefels, Barcelona, with Olli Hatakka, Daniel Bågeberg, and other team members from the Business Academy (Y-akatemia Karelia-amk) at Karelia University of Applied Sciences. 🎓

It was an exciting opportunity to share insights about QURECA’s services and explore potential collaboration. We're inspired by the innovative spirit at Karelia, especially their business school, and look forward to seeing how we can partner together to shape the future of quantum technologies.
