QCentroid workshop and collaboration launch
|
QURECA has announced a new partnership with QCentroid, bringing its QuantumOps platform into QURECA’s training and engagement pathway. The collaboration gives organisations hands-on access to AI-driven tools for discovering, prioritising, and validating quantum use cases based on their own business challenges.
Through QURECA’s Quantum for Business sessions and Use Case Discovery Workshops, participants can move beyond learning about quantum technologies to testing practical, sector-specific applications and assessing their potential before committing to a proof of concept. The partnership helps bridge the gap between quantum education and real-world adoption.

QURECA × QuantrolOx — Quantum EDGE Academy
|
QURECA has partnered with QuantrolOx, the University of Oxford spin-out behind Quantum EDGE, to bring Quantum EDGE Academy to its catalogue. Designed as a simulator-first training platform, the Academy gives learners the opportunity to develop practical quantum laboratory skills and build confidence with realistic hardware workflows before working on real quantum systems.
By combining QuantrolOx’s engineering expertise with QURECA’s experience in quantum education and workforce development, the partnership aims to make practical training more accessible to universities, research institutions, and quantum companies.

Innovative approaches to quantum education and learning
|
QURECA will be presenting at NEWTON-Q 2026, taking place at Newcastle University, UK, on 10–11 September 2026. The last 12 months have seen a rapid rise in the number of online platforms, hands-on kits and even games designed to help students, professionals and the general public further their understanding of quantum technologies. Garth Haley from QURECA will introduce some of these cutting edge tools and novel approaches. Wherever you are in your quantum journey, there's a tool to help you move from abstract concepts to practical understanding.
|
Technology Scotland and QURECA are bringing together industry and technology experts in a series of roundtable discussions to explore the skills needed across Scotland’s critical technology sectors. The programme features three sessions: Photonics and Quantum Technologies on 1 September 2026, Advanced Connectivity Technologies on 10 September 2026, and Semiconductors on 14 September 2026.
The workshops will provide an opportunity to discuss current and future skills needs, share industry perspectives, and help shape the workforce required to support Scotland’s growing critical technology ecosystem.
