Quantum technologies are no longer a distant promise—they are starting to reshape how data is processed, secured, and used in the real world. As the field shifts from experimentation to deployment, the question is no longer if organisations will respond, but how fast they can become quantum ready. QURECA’s mission is to stay ahead of that curve by building the skills, insight, and talent pipelines that this new era demands—across education, industry, and policy. From quantum computing, sensing, and communications to post-quantum cryptography, QURECA helps individuals and organisations understand both the opportunities and the risks, ensuring that education and workforce development sit at the core of a truly quantum-secure future.

🎲 Qubit Race is live on Kickstarter — Final countdown: back it now!
|
Since QURECA was founded, the mission has always been to make quantum technologies accessible to everyone — and Qubit Race is our most playful expression of that yet. This board and card game for ages 6 to 99 (2–4 players, 30–60 min) lets you choose a career path, pick your qubit type, solve quantum challenges, and race to become the Quantum Champion — all while picking up real concepts like entanglement, quantum gates, and error rates along the way. The campaign launched on 13 May and runs until 12 June 2026 — and early bird rewards are still live, so don't miss your window.
For those who want to go further, the Quantum Master reward tier is the one to go for: it bundles the game with access to one of QURECA's online courses, delivering exceptional value for anyone who wants to combine playful learning with genuine quantum training.
BACK THE CAMPAIGN IN THE NEXT 48 HOURS FOR A CHANCE TO WIN A TICKET TO THE ECONOMIST'S 'COMMERCIALISING QUANTUM GLOBAL' EVENT IN LONDON (16-17 Jun 2026)!

QURECA in the European Quantum Academy
|
QURECA is proud to be an active partner of the newly launched European Quantum Academy (EQA), a landmark pan‑European initiative backed by €19.8 million in Horizon Europe funding to coordinate quantum education and skills development across the continent. Bringing together more than 70 partners and over 100 affiliated organisations, the EQA will serve as Europe’s central hub for quantum training—from school outreach to advanced graduate education and professional upskilling.
Within this ecosystem, QURECA contributes its full expertise in quantum workforce intelligence, professional training, microcredential design, and industry engagement, helping to ensure that the Academy’s programmes are rigorous, inclusive, and tightly aligned with real labour‑market needs. The quantum workforce is not a distant vision; it is being built right now—and through the European Quantum Academy, QURECA is helping to make sure that learners, educators, and organisations across Europe can be part of it.

Events in May 2026: QURECA in the spotlight!
|
QURECA continues to grow alongside the quantum industry across Europe, with May bringing a particular focus on activities in Spain and the wider regional ecosystem. Through workshops, partnerships, and stakeholder meetings, QURECA is sharing practical insights on quantum skills, training models, and workforce development with universities, companies, and policymakers.
|
QURECA was pleased to take part in Q-Expo 2026, the flagship European quantum industry event held on 18–19 May at the Euskalduna Conference Centre in Bilbao, Spain. Representing QURECA, founder Araceli Venegas-Gomez—who also serves on the Governing Board of the European Quantum Industry Consortium (QuIC)—joined the OECD panel discussion “Quantum Computing Readiness: From Awareness to Business Value,” contributing to an important conversation on how organisations can move from early interest in quantum computing to meaningful business engagement and adoption.
QURECA also contributed to the dedicated quantum communications programme, where Araceli, in her role as Head of the QComms group, presented the quantum communications supply chain developed with QuIC members. This session highlighted key industrial actors, collaboration opportunities, and the broader potential of Europe’s quantum communications ecosystem as it moves toward greater maturity and deployment.
QURECA is also proud to join the recently launched SQuA (Spanish Quantum Alliance)!
