We are proud to share that QURECA has contributed to the European Quantum Industry Consortium (QuIC)’s Position Paper on the Quantum Europe Strategy. This important document sets out concrete recommendations to ensure that Europe’s world-class scientific leadership translates into industrial capacity, commercial strength, and technological sovereignty.

Covering strategic pillars such as research and innovation, infrastructure, software and skills, security, and international cooperation, the paper is a call for Europe to move beyond vision and act with urgency and scale.

Earlier this month, Araceli Venegas-Gómez, CEO and Founder of QURECA, joined an expert panel for Physics World Live to share her insights on navigating career paths with a physics degree. Alongside Crystal Bailey (APS), Tamara Clelford (Institute of Physics), and Tushna Commissariat (Physics World), Araceli highlighted the importance of self-assessment, short-term planning, and building networks to explore the wide array of opportunities available to physics graduates.

Her message? “Everything is going to be okay — there are millions of options, so don’t panic.”

September marks the beginning of a packed season for the quantum community — and with 2025 being the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology, there’s no shortage of opportunities to connect, learn, and collaborate.

QURECA will be present at several key events this season. Our CEO, Araceli Venegas-Gómez, will attend the Innovation Fair 2025 in China (16–18 September), supporting international collaboration and building bridges between Europe and China. We’ll also be at Quantum Effects in Stuttgart (7–8 October) together with QTIndu, showcasing the latest developments in quantum sensing and industry applications.

Beyond that, there are many other highlights on the calendar: IEEE Quantum Week (31 August–5 September), bridging the gap between science and industry; the DPG-Herbsttagung in Göttingen (8–12 September), celebrating 100 years of quantum physics with a stellar line-up of Nobel laureates and thought leaders; and much more throughout the autumn.
