Reminder – Share Your Insights on Scotland’s Quantum Technologies Ecosystem

Hi ,

We recently reached out about the Quantum ARC-funded initiative, “Assessing Scotland’s Quantum Technologies Ecosystem: Skills, Training Needs, and Interdisciplinary Opportunities.” As many people were away over the summer, we are following up to make sure you don’t miss the chance to contribute.

This is Scotland’s first comprehensive review of the quantum technologies ecosystem, led by QURECA. Your input, whether from research, training, or innovation perspectives, will help shape actionable recommendations for policymakers, funders, and future talent development.

The insights we collect through this survey will:

• Inform a landmark report on Scotland’s quantum technologies ecosystem;
• Guide policymakers, funders (e.g., UKRI, Scottish Funding Council), and innovation agencies in shaping investment priorities and training strategies;
• Support talent development, infrastructure planning, and cross-sector collaboration between academia, industry, and public-sector adopters;
• Identify high-impact areas for interdisciplinary R&D and strengthen Scotland’s global competitiveness in quantum.

The survey takes just a few minutes, and all responses are confidential and anonymised. Please complete it by 31 August 2025 to ensure your experience and expertise are included.

At the conclusion of this project, all contributors and stakeholders across Scotland’s quantum ecosystem will be invited to a one-day conference to discuss the final findings with speakers and panel discussions representing academia, industry, government, and emerging innovators.

Thank you once again for your valuable contribution to this project and for being part of Scotland’s quantum future.

Best regards,
