As summer begins and the days grow longer, it's the perfect time to pause, recharge, and invest in your personal growth. Whether you're basking in the sun or simply taking a well-earned break, summer offers a unique opportunity to dive into new knowledge and explore the future of technology. At QURECA, we're here to support your journey into quantum with a wide range of accessible resources — from online courses to hands-on training and career guidance.

Let this be the season you take your first (or next!) step into the quantum world.

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of Quantum Sensing and Imaging, a free online course developed by QURECA as part of the QTIndu project.

Open exclusively to EU participants, this 30-hour, self-paced course bridges theory and real-world applications — covering everything from atomic clocks and NV centers to quantum magnetometers.

Ideal for students, professionals, and enthusiasts ready to explore the future of quantum sensing.

🧠 No prerequisites. Certificate included.

Looking for a quick snapshot of this month’s top quantum developments?
We’ve shared a concise summary of the June 2025 Quantum News Update on our LinkedIn page — covering key breakthroughs, industry milestones, and global initiatives that are shaping the future of quantum technologies. It’s a great way to stay informed, spark discussions, and connect with others in the quantum ecosystem.

👉 Don’t miss it

Don’t let this opportunity slip by! The ADEQUATE course, funded by the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative, is your gateway into real-world quantum computing — and it’s completely free for EU participants, only during 2025! With 50 hours of hands-on training, expert-led content by QWorld and QURECA, and powerful tools like Qiskit and PennyLane, you'll gain the skills to program actual quantum hardware and explore cutting-edge topics like QML and QNNs.

Whether you're a student, researcher, or developer — if you know Python, you’re ready.

🎓 Become part of Europe’s next wave of deep tech talent. Seats are limited — enrol today before it’s gone!

We’re proud to announce that QURECA is a sponsor and member of the organising committee for the Quantum Education Summit 2025, taking place 3–5 December in Barcelona. This landmark event will bring together global leaders in quantum education, training, and workforce development — and we’re helping shape every step of the programme. With a mission to make quantum knowledge accessible to all, the Summit offers sessions for every level, from curious beginners to advanced professionals.

🔔 Early bird registration is open until 31 July — don’t miss your chance to secure your spot at a reduced rate and be part of Europe’s most important conversation on quantum education.

In June, QURECA was proud to participate in two dynamic events showcasing the real-world impact of quantum technologies. In Riga, we co-organised "A Quantum Future: Exploring Quantum Technologies and Careers" as part of the ADEQUATE project. From keynote talks to hands-on workshops — including a session on Quantum Machine Learning led by QURECA’s Richard Kienhoefer — the event brought students, researchers, and educators together to explore the growing ecosystem of quantum careers and applications.

Earlier in the month, we joined the Quantum Security Workshop at Quantum Fringe 2025 in Edinburgh, diving into the future of secure communication and quantum-resistant encryption. Together with experts from the University of Edinburgh and the NCSC, we explored how quantum computing is redefining digital infrastructure and what’s next for cybersecurity in the quantum era.
