Under the Digital Europe Programme of the European Commission, the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) has granted a total of EUR 5.6 million to the QTIndu project, a pan-European consortium of 11 academic and industry partners coordinated by QURECA SPAIN SL.<\/p>\n\n<p>The core objectives of the project are:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the development of the nucleus for a harmonised pan-European end-to-end short-term training program in QT for enterprises,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>training courses specifically tailored to the requirements of companies and SMEs from different business sectors, and<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the creation and provision of guidelines and routes for a scale up to a comprehensive pan-European scale.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The training programs developed in this initiative will be mapped to the <a href=\"https:\/\/qtedu.eu\/european-competence-framework-quantum-technologies\">Quantum Technology Competence Framework<\/a> and aligned with the emerging Qualification Profiles specifications for individuals working in QT developed by the Quantum Flagship. These SME-based training programs are tailored to different business sectors and industry needs covering all the aspects of quantum workforce landscape.<\/p>\n\n<p>The QTIndu consortium comprises several academic institutions with expertise in the field of quantum technologies (the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.helsinki.fi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">University of Helsinki<\/a> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/instituteq.fi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">InstituteQ<\/a> in Finland, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tudelft.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Delft University of Technology<\/a> in the Netherlands, <a href=\"https:\/\/international.au.dk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Aarhus University<\/a> in Denmark and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tu-braunschweig.de\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Technische Universit\u00e4t Braunschweig<\/a> in Germany), the national metrology institute (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ptb.de\/cms\/de.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt<\/a> in Germany), an SME (and the only company in the world) focussed on education and skills for the quantum workforce (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.qureca.com\/es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">QURECA SPAIN<\/a> in Spain), two professional networks (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.qureca.com\/es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Stifterverband<\/a> in Germany and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.minacned.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MinacNed<\/a> in Netherlands), academic institutions with quantum expertise and a network of SMEs in the sector (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.icfo.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ICFO-The Institute of Photonic Sciences<\/a> in Barcelona, Spain), and the European multinational aerospace corporation (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.airbus.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Airbus Defence and Space<\/a>). Furthermore, two relevant industrial consortia will act as advisors, the <a href=\"https:\/\/qvls.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Quantum Valley Lower Saxony<\/a> in Germany, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.euroquic.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">QuiC<\/a>, the European Quantum Industry Consortium.
