SUMMARY:QSim2024
DESCRIPTION:Recent experimental advances in controlling quantum coherence present new opportunities to realize quantum simulation of complex quantum many-body systems. Quantum simulators based on a variety of architectures\, including ultracold atoms and molecules in optical lattices\, trapped ions\, Rydberg gases\, isolated spins in solids\, and superconducting circuits\, proffer rich playgrounds for Hamiltonian engineering and time-dependent control of many-body quantum systems. Many of these systems can routinely achieve parameter regimes and sizes that are seemingly intractable to simulate on a classical computer. \nQSim is an international annual conference on quantum simulation that aims to bridge theory and experiment\, bringing together physicists\, engineers\, chemists\, material scientists\, mathematicians\, and computer scientists working at the forefront of quantum simulation and related problems that include applications\, algorithms\, verification\, noise\, scaling\, etc. for both analog and digital approaches. A special session midweek will be devoted to charting the future of the field. We hope that this conference will stimulate interactions across disciplines and unveil new connections between seemingly disparate aspects of physics. \n  \nInvited Speakers\n\nAndrew Baczewski\, Sandia National Laboratories\nImmanuel Bloch\, Ludwig-Maximilians University\nDolev Bluvstein\, Harvard University\nAnthony Chen\, Caltech\nToby Cubitt\, University College London / Phasecraft\nStefanie Czischek\, University of Ottawa\nEugene Demler\, ETH Zürich\nDi Fang\, Duke University\nAndrás Gilyén\, Alfréd Rényi Institute of Mathematics\nAram Harrow\, MIT\nRobert Huang\, Google Quantum AI / Caltech\nWilliam Huggins\, Google Quantum AI\nAbhinav Kandala\, IBM\nXiao Mi\, Google Quantum AI\nMario Motta\, IBM\nGuido Pagano\, Rice University\nMonika Schleier-Smith*\, Stanford University\nFederica Surace\, Caltech\nTim Taminiau*\, QuTech / TU Delft\nTingrei Tan\, University of Sydney\nRuben Verresen\, Harvard University\n\n  \nConference Organization Sponsors\nThe QSim 2024 conference organization is sponsored by the NSF Quantum Leap Challenge Institute for Robust Quantum Simulation and the University of Rhode Island.

SUMMARY:Quantum+AI Summit
DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\nOctober 29-30\, 2024\nUncovering the Coming Wave of Quantum + AI \n\n2 Days\n50+ Speakers\nIn-Person\n\nThis new ground-breaking event brings together Quantum + AI leaders to tackle the most pressing issues and opportunities in one of the world’s most dynamic arenas.\nBe part of IQT’s first QUANTUM + AI conference and exhibition covering the coming revolution of combining quantum computing with Artificial Intelligence (AI). QUANTUM + AI takes place October 29-30\, 2024\, in New York City. \nQuantum computing and AI are highly synergistic. Quantum computing having the potential to significantly enhance AI capabilities. Quantum AI combines the power of quantum computing with AI to create new algorithms\, machine learning techniques\, search procedure and data processing techniques that are impossible to achieve with classical computers. \nQuantum computing can supercharge AI by processing increasingly large and complex datasets more efficiently\, leading to more robust insights and improved processes in sectors such as pharma\, finance and the military and intelligence services. Quantum AI has the potential to revolutionize these and other industries by enabling faster machine learning\, improved predictions\, and enhanced optimization. \nThis coming Quantum AI revolution has many challenges\, which we will also discuss at this event. These include better error corrected and fault tolerant quantum computing\, quantum-optimized and novel software for quantum AI-based decision making. Despite these challenges\, the synergy between quantum computing and AI holds great promise for advancing technology across many different sectors. This is why we are holding this first-of-a-kind event. \nAgenda\nThe Quantum + AI Summit will feature a dynamic lineup of speakers and networking opportunities. Our agenda will be meticulously curated to address the most pressing challenges and opportunities facing quantum computing in the AI age today\, as well as showcase behind-the-scenes look at applications and platforms being constructed. \nProvisional Topics Coverage\n(please send additional suggested topics and or speaking or sponsorship requests to info@3drholdings.com) \n\nQuantum AI: A Quantum Computing Industry Perspective\nDoes the AI Sector Care About Quantum Computing?\nApplications for Quantum AI in Quantum Chemistry and the Pharma Industry\nApplications for Quantum AI in the Financial Services and Banking Sector\nApplications for Quantum AI in the Government\, Military and Intelligence Services\nQuantum Machine Learning\nAI in the Design and Manufacture of Quantum Computers\nAI\, Quantum and Cybersecurity\nVC Roundtable\nSumming Up: Executive Roundtable
