SUMMARY:QNetworks Workshop 2026
DESCRIPTION:QNetworks is a two-day international workshop organised by the Integrated Quantum Networks (IQN) Hub\, the UK’s flagship national programme for quantum networks research. QNetworks invites thought leaders from similar flagship R&D initiatives across the world\, and brings together key governmental and industry voices to discuss the challenges\, solutions\, and partnerships required to deliver the next generation of quantum networks. \nThis year’s event will take place in person at Bristol on 12-13 May\, 2026\, and will be free to attend thanks to support from the Engineering and Physical Science Research Council (EPSRC). \nSessions will cover recent developments on quantum memories; integrated photonics for quantum networking\, enabling technologies and field trials; the role of entanglement; post-quantum cryptography; quantum communications via satellite; networked quantum systems for distributed sensing and computing; and more. \nThere will be an opportunity for Early Career Researchers/PhD students to present research posters at the event. If this option is of interest\, there is the option to submit a 150-word abstract during the registration process. The deadline for submissions is Friday 17th April. \nQNetworks 2026 will be hosted at the Bristol Megascreen\, located within the Bristol Aquarium.

SUMMARY:The 2nd International Conference on Siam Quantum Science and Technology (SQST) 2026
DESCRIPTION:Quantum Science and Technology\, in recent years\, have emerged as significant research areas globally\, drawing attention and contributions from government sectors\, academic institutions and even industries. Thailand is catching up and has established a research funding scheme to support cutting-edge quantum technology research. \nFollowing the success of Siam Quantum Science and Technology (SQST) in Krabi\, Thailand in 2024\, this time\, SQST 2026 will be the second international conference at Centara Life Maris Resort Jomtien\, Chonburi\, Thailand\, that focuses on research topics related to quantum science and technology. This event aims to reflect the growing quantum-research community in the country and the government’s commitment to frontier science in the field. The goal of this conference is to bring together researchers from overseas and within Thailand\, fostering collaboration\, knowledge-sharing\, and inspiring young scientists in the field of quantum science and research. The event will feature invited speakers\, contributed speakers\, and poster presentations selected from submitted abstracts\, for the duration of 4 days in late May. \nThe SQST 2026 conference is hosted by Siam Quantum Square\, Faculty of Science\, Chulalongkorn University\, in collaboration with Quantum Technology Research initiative collaboration (QTRic).
